in ALL caps

We have a passion for music here at inALLcaps. From Screamo to Electro House. We want to share some great music from artists we think you should be aware of. If WE really knew what we were doing, we would have started a music label instead of this blog...but we are on your side, and we are ALWAYS right.

Coachella Preview - Afrojack

He started playing piano when he was only five. This was back when he was known as Nick van de Wall and not what we know him as today: Afrojack. Afrojack spent most of his time listening to all kinds of music and it  was no surprise that he would start making music instead of just listening to it.

At the age of 11, Afrojack discovers Fruity Loops and still uses to this day. In 5 years, Afrojack plays his first gig at a nightclub. In 2006 he jets off to Greece for five months to play in every club that would have him and it was during this time that he lands his first hit, called "F*ck Detroit". By 18, he scores another hit with "In Your Face." The song tops out at #60 in the Dutch Top 100 and #3 in the Dutch dance Top 30.

In 2009 Afrojack was noticed by one of the most sought-after music producers in the world, David Guetta. The collaboration results in two big hits: "Toyfriend" and an Afrojack remix of Guetta’s track ‘Sexy Bitch’.

His increasing fame and track record as an excellent producer begin bringing him remix requests from both Lady Gaga ("Alejandro") and Madonna ("Revolver’).

His most recent single, ‘Take Over Control ft. Eva Simons’, is currently one of the hottest club anthems on the planet, not least in the UK where it’s been championed by Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Pete Tong. The track also hit No 2. on Beatport and has already reached over 1 million views on YouTube.

This kind of clout has allowed him to play some of the world’s biggest floors including Pacha Ibiza, Miami Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival in LA.

Now, in April 2012, AfroJack will be adding another amazing festival, two weekends back to back when he plays Coachella!

MP3 Posting Policy

1. I will gladly take any mp3 down that any artist or anyone associated with them asks me to take down. Send an email to: inallcaps at gmail.com

2. If the mp3 has been posted elsewhere, I will just link to it. No need to post it twice.

3. I believe that I am introducing my readers to music that they'll like and the result will be more music sales. If I felt otherwise, I wouldn't be doing it. I buy music and I think you should too.

To sum it up: If you are an artist or scary lawyer type and want something removed from here, just email us and it's gone! We're easy like that!
